I really think the views depend on what your goal is. If you are trying to bring in new leads, The number of targeted views would be the main goal. If your goal is branding and visibility, a good goal is trying to get on the front page where you can easily get 10 to 20,000 views.

Re: SlideShare: How To Use this Overlooked Platform In Your Social Media Strategy

Really nice, detailed "how to" post, Joel. I've been using Swarm for a few weeks now, and I absolutely love it. I think it makes the entire Foursquare app features so much more easier and enjoyable to use. In fact, I deleted my Foursquare app from my iPhone altogether. I've always enjoyed Foursquare, but I found it to be cumbersome and slow to use. Swarm reminds of me of Instagram with more robust access, sayer to use features...

Re: 3 Questions to Ask When Hiring a Social Media Assistant

This is a good piece of knowledge and advice, Carrie. All the way. Awesome for everything.
Hotel Tonight saved my life (not literally) when I was recently in NYC and my AirBnB fell through. Local hotels are listed daily at 9a.m. and are usually the last minute prices. Also for NYC, "NYC Subway" is a great app that helps you plan routes for time or for number of transfers. Time Out is another great app for whatever city you visit. And even though more countries have English-speaking people, it's always good to have a translation app ready for few times you really need it.
Oh, and the Starbucks app. It's not exactly a travel app ... and I do love local coffee shops ... but sometimes you just need a reliable beverage.

Re: 10 Social and Mobile Travel Apps That Make Vacation a Breeze

Thanks for sharing these great apps Laurie!
